    First post here. Very new birder! :o
    Taken with canon 40D, 300mm f4 with 1.4x.
    focal length 420mm, f/8 EV + 0.33 1\800

    Big Time Welcome Jeni !!!!!

    Beautiful bird well exposed in a good pose with a fine head angle. Would go over the eye area and sharpen a bit more. I'm sure it is very sharp just needs help.

    I also like the compensation used maybe some fill flash for lighting the tail area. Would also suggest a little more room around the tail . btw you ca post to a max of 800 if you want !!! Looking forward to many more !!!!

    Nice looking bird with very nice pose,agree with Alfred a bit more sharpen in the eye area

    I do have a problem in that I'm VERY new to photoshop as well as photography so don't know how to only sharpen certain areas. Will do a re-crop and include more room around tail. I do appreciate your suggestions and thanks for your comments.

    Thank you so much - found out how to sharpen the eye and it does make a big difference.:-)
