Here goes. The lamb to the lions! I have a guzillion "small in frames" so thought I would contribute to this months theme.

A small, old injury cloned out over his eye as well as some little spots in the water. HS Adjustment layer in PS, cropped to 60% of original FF and smart sharpened for web posting.

very beautiful Glennie! nice light and I really like the low angle and the colorful bill! If coots had a beauty queen this would be it! I also like the calm water. I'd like to see a tighter crop to see the details a bit better. lovely frame!

Quite a colourful coot indeed! Good job healing the injury. I like the water texture and colours. I'd personally have preferred the coot a bit closer to the lower left corner - for sure I'd crop to above the detached red part of the reflection, and a bit at left. Maybe a bit of CCW rotation? Nicely done overall.

I like the low light, colorful coot, complimentary BG and HA. I agree with some CCW rotation. Very well done Glennie!
