    Kodak days, Ektachrome Professional, 300 mm Nikkor lens, Nikon f3, Hide used, Flash fill in. Circa 1974, my scanned image was just too big 275 KB what a job for me to get it smaller. Sorry

    I think the bird left !!! ..... PM if you have any problems posting the image, glad to help out !!! Looking forward to seeing on from an F3 which probably was my favorite Nikon of all time !!!

    Should be no problem to get scanned image or any jpeg down to 200k limit, 800 pixels max on longest side. Resample image in your editor of choice to 96 dpi (you did 72) and 800 pixels on longest edge. Save as a jpeg and adjust jpeg compression so that the file is within 200k in size. I find that I can normally produce a Maximum (10) quality jpeg image with these limits and settings. You can also Save for Web and Devices in Photoshop and optimise size for target.
