Nice one John I like the look back pose and the tail with the water droplets floating on the water. Are you getting a big influx of Short Eared Owl down there ?

Superb pose and setting making this a charming JR classic which demonstrates your patients. A couple of processing niggles though. There is an odd opacity effect around the leg and another near the top of frame at 2.o'clock to the bird's head both of which should be an easy fix.

    Thanks both
Adrian Sorted out best I can but I can,t work out what the bottom one is. I am almost sure the top is where I took out the white highlight(badly too !)
The bottom one almost looks like a transparent leaf !
I enclose three crops from thew only other shots of that bird taken at the same time. They all seem to have a wierd bit in the similar place. Any ideas ?
    Cheers
    John

A lovely moment well captured John. Lovely detail on the bird, nice head turn and a very aware look on the birds face. I love the environment, beats photographing them in a bird bath hands down!

Another nice bathing frame John. Great colors and I like the crisp looking water. The bird looks like it could use another round of sharpening to me? Well done
