Impressive sharpness and detail for 1/200 handheld at 700mm! And a nice pose in great light -- well done!

I could go for some rust on the barbed wire (would also match the bird's color scheme nicely) but we get what we're given.

I like the pose, sharpness, details, composition and BG. I would remove the lower dot in the eye Very well done Dennis.

Not the best perch in the world Den, but lovely details on the bird, and a nice clean BG. When did you get the muscles to hold the 500mm steady at 1/200th

Thanks all for the positive comments, I have to agree about the perch ,idealy I would return a bit nearer to breeding season and set up a few nicer/natural looking perches

IQ is great, nice colors and perfect sharpness and details at 1/200. Perch has been mentioned, but I still like this one. Well done, Dennis.

I just love birds with attitude, and this bird sure has some of that based upon his pose. Super capture full of wonderful colors and details.

Feather detail and sharpness are spot on, wire bit covered, the bird sits very well on that nice smooth BG.
