    Default Goliath

I always enjoy the perspective one gets laying on the ground and looking up on any bird, but I find it a special view to look at these long legs and vivid colors.

What a wonderful perspective, and I love your title!!! The raised foot is a big plus also. Love your flamingo images!

    Thank you for the comments.
I live in Yucatan, Mexico. They are really all over the cost. I have some places where I go to photograph them. This one was taken in a small fishing town close to Progreso.

Perfect low perspective for a tall bird. It gives the impression of a wide-angle shot from up close.

I wonder if there is more detail in the neck and head to be brought out.

A real beauty Lorant! I like the raised foot, low angle, layered BG, IQ and composition.

I've really enjoyed the whole recent Flamingo set Lorant, thanks for sharing them. This one is up with the best with your signature low POV and the raised foot for extra interest.

Just a super shooting angle for this image, it's all about perspective and those long legs. Gorgeous background as well. A couple dust spots need evicted.

I like this one too. The low angle really makes this guy look goliath and I like the colors and details. Some dust spots and cloning artifacts to be removed but a nice frame.

    Thanks again everyone.
Regarding the dust sport I think I will have to put a screen on my wish list one day. I just have a laptop and the screen is pretty beaten after all these many years of traveling:). One day.....
