This is at my local beach in Jupiter Florida called Carlin Park about 5 minutes from my house as you can imaging I spend a lot of mornings there.

    Hi Don

I think this is even more beautiful than the last one...! the water swirling around the rocks is superb. I am going to complain though, I think the brightest parts of the sky is a little too bright. I am currently viewing from an uncalibrated monitor but i can read values of 250... I think you could knock 10 off that..

    regards

    DON

Your beach images are indeed beautiful Don. They make me want to find a beach and a nice rock! The bright parts in the sky does not bother me.

Thanks for the info, Don. It's an amazing shot. I really love the shape the water created as it flowed around the rock. I think it balances really well with the drama in the sky.

WOW -- another gem! (And that's what the moss-covered rock looks like!) Simply sublime!

Another lovely image of that very photogenic rock. I think that you had just about the perfect shutter speed for the waves. I agree that there are a couple of very bright areas in the clouds but I think that they are fine as they are; darkening the sky might unbalance the image.

Thought this might look nice in monochrome, here's a 2-minute attempt...

    Hi Don

I was playing around with your image looking at stuff (nothing to report), but I think you horizon is not horizontal...
