    #4 and final in the series. This is an oldie, from 5 years ago with my old kit. I believe I posted another frame of this scene back in 2011, taken a day later than this on the same pine branch. Seemed like it fit the small-in-frame theme.

    D90, 80-400 VR @ 220mm, ISO 640, 1/320s @ f/8.

    A pleasing image with the snow falling and mellow tones. It is a pity that you were not a bit higher up so that the bird's head was not angled against the plane of camera but you probably had no control here. An oldie but goodie:)

    lovely composition Bill and i love the winter scene. sweet chickadee is such a wee one and not as plump as those pine cones. nice to have him giving a call too. wouldn't change a thing.

    Hey Bill, It's just awesome! It's not only unique in every way but the colors are killer in this image; looks like a painting and reminds of a J Gould. This would make a beautiful canvas print! TFS steve
