    I spent 4 hours in the cold waiting for a short eared owl, this was the nearest thing I got. These little birds can be there for a fleeting moment or for up to a minute, as it turned out I would have had time to change TC to get a few more pixels on the subject.

    You've stolen my thunder - I have a stonechat on the very same perch I was thinking of posting

    Nice soft muted colours on this one Jon, fits the theme very well.

    Anything to help Mike this was where we were stood the other week. No owls turned up

    Like this a lot, Jonathan. Great complimentary colors in the perch and the BG. Beautiful soft light.

    Very nice Jonathan. The colours on the bird, the perch and the background all complement each other well. Fits the theme very nicely.

    I like this little guy small in the frame and the natural perch with the red colors adds to the image. It does fit the theme well.
