    Hi Dan,

This is a beautiful portrait but I hope others will chyme in on this because I want to know how to handle the reflection. I am drawn to the 2 eyes in the reflection which for me is a distraction. Do you and does anyone else think that one of the eyes should be cloned out ; both eyes cloned out; just crop out the reflection; or do nothing because it's conditionally natural? I don't mean to be critical because I love the sharpness, detail, POV, but I am puzzled as to how to handle the double eye reflection. steve

Steve, thanks, I personally liked the double eye reflection, but it is certainly subjective.

    Dan,

To be honest, when I looked at the thumbnail I wasn't holding much hope for this shot, but when I opened up the full size version, I was very pleasantly surprised.

This is a lovely image with great colours and detail in the feathers and the eye looks fantastic. The double eye issue isn't ideal, so I opened it up in PS and cloned it out, and the original works better i this instance. The only suggestion from me is it needs a little CW rotation.

The bow wave is a lovely little touch as well,

    Mike

A handsome little devil isn't he? Just the right size in the frame and wonderful details - I really like the image.
