    Default Least Sandpiper

I never thought I could be cold in Yucatan...but I was while taking this picture, laying in the "cold" water and mud in the overcast afternoon before sunset. I cropped the image and cloned out some of the while reflections from the water. Comments are welcome.

Beautiful Lorant. Yes, the image looks cold. The BG is gorgeous and compliments the little sandpiper so well. His raised foot and the little trail of ripples following just makes it top notch.

There is just one little white spot on the RHS that distracts my eye a tad.

    Thank you for sharing!

Hi Lorant, the sand piper looks lovely and the BG is perfect. I only wish that the water was calmer so that the reflection is sharper. TFS. Loi

Attractive color palette, another vote for a better reflection.

Beautiful image, Lorant. I like the soft light and what looks to be a layer of mist forming in the BG. Nice detail and like the raised foot. Worth getting into the mud for this image.

When can I swap your cold for our cold??

Really nice shot, and the walking posture is spot on. Would like just a sliver more space below if you have it.

I hear you, Mike and I know. I am in Montreal now for a while and despite it is a warm winter I am freezing at -10C. :). Thanks for commenting. I do have more and I will try adding.

Nice-looking pose and I like the raised foot over the water. I like the composition but I do agree about the reflection. Well done
