    I like the water droplet (it even casts a shadow on the bird) and the head angle. Sharpness is good and you held the whites in your exposure. I think there's too much room on the bottom and not enough up top. The photo could stand a little CCW rotation. Also, I think there's too much bird in the shadows; a different angle relative to the sun would have helped. Thanks for posting!

    HI Pat Can also add and stress the need to photograph white birds in soft light. You can get away with it with some dark birds but not these guys !!!!

    Soft light and a better sun angle would have made for a better image. Good exposure and sharpness as presented.

    I like the composition Pat,
    but the harsh sun light and shadows take away from your lovely image...:cool:

    Thanks for the helpful feedback guys.. this was after 6 pm but my how the light has changed in a short period of time and sunset is now 8:49. I wa out searching for new cygnets but by the look of the beek on this one it is only one year old and not old enough for babies... after studying them for awhile..I will go later if I try another place..
