Eastern Meadowlark captured along Joe Overstreet Road using the vehicle as a blind. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

P.S. The grainy stuff on the beak are grains of sand.

You have a great eye level POV and a gorgeous BG.
The detail in the lark is excellent.
Great singing pose. My only wish would be that the head was turned away ever so slightly to see more of the right eye.
All in all a very nice image!
You do very well on this road!I have been a few times and gotten nothing...

No, I did not know that! As far as the image itself, I like the complimentary background, singing pose of the bird, the good look at his feet. The head angle does not draw me into the image, but you do have some fine feather detail. ANy more from this series?

Great singing pose, nice detail, lovely background, POV. Interesting to see into his mouth, but I'm with Gail about the head turn.

Grace, I just happen to have another couple from that series hanging around. Here is one of them with a better head angle.

    Thanks again, everyone.

No, I didn't know:). Very nice image, great composition. Looks like you got a few frames with different head turns, but I like the OP for the open beak. TFS.
