Wow, how time flies. This milestone had completely slipped by me, until Gail pointed it out in my previous thread. Little did I know when I joined BPN 8 (eight!!) years ago that I would cross the 20K comments threshold! Lots has gone by during that time, but BPN has always remained the best online photography forum community...thanks to all you guys for making that happen so consistently.
Anyhow, here is a Snowy Owl proudly posing for a portrait - this is the same individual as my previous post. At this point the clouds made for neat blue/white areas and I just lined those colours up to best suit the portrait and waited for the head angle I wanted.
Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, natural light, handheld, 1/400s., f/8, ISO 800, FF. The eye to our left was a tad darker so I tweaked its' luminosity and colour to match the other.

Lovely portrait with great BG to go with it. I like the composition, you have left enough of the legs. As always with snowies the eyes just draw you in
I must say that you do have some beautiful birds to photograph in N.America and time after time you make the very best of them. Another beauty Daniel. Congratulations on your milestone.

Beautiful image, details of this Snowy are wonderful. I particularly like the soft background that is darker blue at top and bottom and then softly moves to wispy white to frame the bird. Great composition. Your posting milestone is to be appreciated by all of us as you always move around the forum and help all of us with our own work. Thank you.
