    This was taken after a fresh snowfall, which made a nice backdrop on surrounding trees. Very little crop, all processed in Lightroom.

    Hello Simon. Very nice little bird. Colour and feather detail look good to me. You have handled the snow very well. I can't find any nits...and I'm pretty good at finding them.

    What a gorgeous little bird, with great sharpness detail in wonderful soft light. Beautiful colors. It could also make a very nice square or vertical crop, I think, but I don't have any complaints about the crop here.

    It's always nice to see more of a bird's body, but not always possible. He looks like he's trying to stay warm.

    Hi Simon, Nice quality and details. It might be a little bit flat possibly needs a little contrast and maybe some sharpening. You should put this on Avian, I think it belongs in that forum. The white background works as a winter image. You could open it up a little; it looks great so close and tight but giving the little guy some room might be pleasing too. Great job!
