Dan, this is beautiful. I love the moment you captured in this photo. The detail that made the picture for me is the symmetry of the seaweed around the neck. It makes a perfect "necklace" for the bird. The reflection also adds to the picture. Thanks for sharing this. Very inspiring.

The beautiful alternating colors and curtain like background coupled with the suspended water droplets is awesome!

    Dan:

Strong sense of action from the pose and flying water. Necklace adds, excellent POV.

You continue to show us what the D610 is really capable of.

    Cheers

Neat little Grebe, it looks so determined. Excellent techs, perfect background, low POV (I wish I could get that low), the green necklace and spraying water add much to the image. Thank you for sharing, Dan.

I love that necklace!! Great low POV, and the flying water adds lots of interest. The only thing is that the plumage seems a tad magenta/purple to me. Should be an easy fix.

One of your best IMHO, Great pov and the action and the necklace round things off well.

Hi Dan, great action from the Grebe, and the flying droplets really add interest. The weed around the Grebe takes this over the top. Very well captured.

I'm still seeing a magenta cast, as I mentioned on your last grebe. This one is such a great pose, full of interest with the flying droplets and seaweed. I'm just posing the question of what that smooth space is doing for the image in the lower half. Undecided if I like it. A browser scroll cutting to right above your sig seems like an option.

Super image. Lot of action, water drops, twisted feathers...and super sharp head. Nice green around the bird's neck too:). Good shooting angle and nice BG. Well done.

Hi Dan , this is so lovely .Great action , the water splashes taking this up a notch . And the necklace is a great addition .
Not 100 % sure about the magenta/ blue colors in the bird , but as i do not know this species it might be the natural color
    Well done .
