    Default Look in these Eyes - SEO reloaded

    Here is a version with direct eye contact.. i am still addicted. :)
    The SEO was at the end less than 10 feet away, no chance for my 600mm lens, crazy.
    i was very happy with the weather conditions on this day.

    Here I tried a 16/9 version;
    for Full-HD TV :-)

    Hope you like it a little bit. i have a few problems with the round white

    Beatiful shot and it's very sharp, Eric. I would clone out the white OOF blob on the right blue side of the image. I am questioning if this photo would benefit if the owl's head be a little higher on the frame. Maybe canvas extension? Of course this would not work for the 16x9 format you are looking far. But that's just my two cents. Thanks for sharing here! :)

    Looks good to me. Great head on look and eye contact, with sharp focus on the face. I always find it interesting how much difference there is in the pupil sizes between sunlit and shaded sides of the face on these birds.

    It would be helpful if you'd post the gear and settings info.

    Absolutely amazing!! I love it! Agree with Adhika on the OOF light area on the edge, but it's hardly enough to reduce the amazing quality of the image.

    Wow, you're liking us with these SEO shots! This one looks almost 3D. Great view of the face, and certainly no lack of eye contact.

    Wow, what impact! Great colours, and I love the detail on the face. For sure I would remove the whitish circle at left edge - is that what you mean by "i have a few problems with the round white"? A couple of clicks with a 30-40% opacity clone brush would do the trick...

    very nice Eric, I much prefer this one compared to other post. excellent details and BG, my only wish is that sun was perfectly behind your neck when taking this shot. I like the tight crop, it shows the details better
