    Default American Oystercatcher

It seems oystercatchers are the birds of the day. :) Photographed on the Connecticut shore. There was quite a bit of flight activity and these birds are surprisingly fast.

Very lovely flight image Axel and the forward wings really makes this one for me. Excellent detail and exposure and beautiful eye contact.

Brutal capture Axel !!! One of the most challenging birds for flight !!! They do make predictable runs and announce their presence but are sooooo faaaast !!! Just perfect for me !!! Big Congrats !!!!

Great wing position, sharpness and exposure.
