Dottie and I were at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge photographing birds when this happened to fly over. The refuge is part of land acquired for Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral. NASA use this plane to carry large rocket parts, very large it would appear. The plane has been nicknamed Super Guppy, I discovered by a quick internet search.

Hi Diane, thank you for viewing and commenting. I agree, amazing that it can fly. I happened to see a show on television about this plane, only a very few select pilots fly it. Very difficult to land and take off in cross winds.
