From Conowingo on Sunday morning. We watched this fellow snag his fish (too far away to capture the moment of the catch), and then fly over to perch in the trees behind us where he proceeded to shred the fish. This is essentially full-frame; I added a sliver of canvas to the right and cropped an equivalent sliver from the left, to better position the bird in the frame.

Like this shooting angle too, Bill. Nice wings up position, light and good detail. Good size catch/fish of the day.

Nailed that one Bill, nice work. The wings are in a nice position and the focus looks bang on to me, great detail throughout.

You nailed the whites on the head! Very nice image with a great BG.
I like the hint of treeline and the fish is a lovely bonus,

Nice work, Bill. Exposure and sharpness look great and I like that the background is not plain.

Nicely done Bill. The Whites look great. I like the head position, and the catch adds a lot.

I like the silverish plumage and the grey feeling of the image. Fish is a bonus...I wish we could see the head as well, though it is a kind of cool as it is like an extension of the bird's tail. Well done.
