Size:  242.8 KBOne of the male Little owl on lookout ,the youngsters were 5 week old when I took this shot ,this is from a second site with a totally different habitat to the quarry owls ,I should spend more time at this site especially as having full control on private land ...Canon 1d mkiv 500mm with the x1.4 (kindly loaned to me at the time from Mike pooley)iso 640 1/1000sec +1/3 ev

    A cute shot, I would be over the moon to get one looking so relaxed. He couldn't have found a simpler perch could he?
    Just wondering about the tone of the greens - maybe a little on the yellow side? I have a version for you to consider WDYT?

    Hi Dennis, what a relaxed pose you managed here, and amazing how he's balancing on that 'pole'. With regards to the colour, maybe in between the two.

    Thanks for the suggestion's regarding the colour,this was a lovely summers day ,if I had to re look again I would possible be inclined to try for something in the middle
