I hope this release can be considered quite "worthy" of being published in the forum "Avian"

This is an interesting photo, with good exposure. But while the rear and back feathers are sharp, the head and neck are a little soft. More DOF would have been better. I would also crop less tightly, allowing more space around the bird. Thanks for sharing.

You got some really nice light to work with here, but unfortunately the face is soft due to missed focus. You have to make absolutely sure the eye of your subject is sharp or else the image will lose major impact. I am sure you will have the opportunity to go back and practice placing your focus point on the face :-)

Hmmm you may have missed focus but to me your problem is also shutter speed (if not the main reason) which has made the head soft with subject movement.

It isn't working for me Gianluca, the bird;s head is just totally OOF, too big in the frame and the angle a bit awkward, side light wasn't ideal either.

TFS though, BTW, looking at images of the same specie on this forum gives you more ideas about how to make a more attractive image.
