A babbler strikes a pose on a granite rock perch at Isha Yoga Centre near Coimbatore, TN, India. The new 100-400 II with 7D II is a wonderful light weight combo (image made with this duo) and compliments my 5D III and 500 II very nicely.

Nicely exposed, I like the staggered foot position, sharpness, soft background and great eye. I could see a version with the granite toned down just a bit in luminosity to reduce its apparent bulk.

What an unusual bird. The head looks like it is carved in ivory. Perch is not ideal but one which falls well within my acceptability margins. Nice work.

Hi Sanjeev a very nice and clean shot of the Babbler .
Lovely IQ and overall nice color and well working comp .
I just think the lights are a bit too light and thin in tone , i also do think the rock could be toned down a fraction

maybe something along this lines :
