The head angle isn't quite right and I also think this needs more "pop" or something to make it shine. Or is it just one of those that is almost but ultimately not a keeper? Thanks for looking and helpful critique.

    Katie,

I like the bird on the berries but in a way they seem to compete? Wonderfully sharp image!!!!

I see this as an environmental portrait/bird-behavior photo. So, I think the berries play a role there. As for to make it pop, well, there's always photoshop and the like, IF you're not one of those who's extremely against photo manipulation with photoshop (I've met some who describes themselves that way) :)

    Desmond,
I'm not at all opposed to Photoshop enhancement, and I tried my best with this one so we know I have a lot more to learn. :D

    Katie,

I just opened the image in CS2 and it doesn't have a color profile assigned, being in sRGB will help with webviewing and having a color profile, such as RGB will help with editing??.

With my meager talents a messed a bit. I did crop it a bit more and probably shouldn't have (I should never be allowed to crop anything).
Just did a bit of contrast and saturation and converted to sRGB. Hope you don't mind??

It is a very nice image
