    I like the image, Jon,
It must have been a challenge to capture it this nicely under harsh, bright light.
I might have gone for a vertical crop, if you have enough room at the bottom.
Or, alternatively, crop the present photo a little tighter on the left.
Overall, it's a great looking bird.

Well composed and a great pose. Looks like harsh lighting but you handled it well. I find the dark in the BG slightly distracting and perhaps moving a bit to the right my have eliminated this. The grub is a real bonus here. Thanks for sharing.

It looks as if you accidentally posted the same image as yesterday.

OK.......I didn't see yesterdays image............considering the lighting.............very well handled. May prefer with a little less black..........so a tighter horizontal proportional crop may help.

My apologies it is indeed the same image, I guess I must have had a senior moment!!
I am having some difficulty in making posts at the present as I keep being logged out and getting a message indicating I can only upload every 24hr. I understand this rule, but a few occasions I have waited more than 24hr and still been unable to upload.
    Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
