Had a surprise visit from a female Kingfisher that we had shot several weeks ago. Shot from my car window D4 600mm E FL with 1.4tc, 1/2000 sec, F6.3, ISO 800. Thanks for your comments and critics.

Nice looking back pose captured. It seems that the bird has a cyan cast.

    Hi Gleen,
The BG, light and subject are all top notch. IQ is excellent and the diagonal perch is the perfect size for the KF.
The color balance seems to be off on the KF. It loos like the bird has a cyan cast to it. Perhaps this is the natural color of belted KF in California?

Excellent capture though I agree there is a bit of a cyan cast.

Just make her blue and you've got a winnner. Love her messy plumage, the lookback, her position on the stick and the complimentary background.

Wow -- gorgeous! I don't know the bird but the color correction looks great to me.
