Rather harsh lighting so I had to tame the lights and fill in the darks, the water was also very blue indeed so I desaturated it.

    Certainly an interesting pose Jon!

Tough conditions but you've handled it nicely.

Hi Jonathan. Water looks great. Pano crop works well here. You captured an interesting pose indeed. You may consider to drop the saturation of the reds a bit.

Strong colors, but look good. Love the scratching pose captured, Jon. Almost like waving hi to you.

    Thanks for the feedback everyone.
I did wonder about the reds but the colours were intense on the day so decided to leave them though I did reduce the blue in the water.
I appreciate it has been said before but I attribute the detail very much to a high shutter speed.

You didn't embed the color profile here, so some folks, depending on their monitors and browsers, won't be seeing the colors correctly. Likely they will see over-saturated reds. (It looks like you converted to sRGB but that isn't enough.)

Spot on Diane, I have now clicked Embed Colour Profile, it must have been like this for months!
