    Taken theother day,the light was not the best,and the bird is a bit drab in its winter plumage,come on spring,cannon5D111,CANNON500MM IS,L,F4,1/4EXT,700MM FL,resting on bean bag on old farm wall,cropped,sharpened for web,CB,touch of levels,ISO2500,F5.6,1/500S.

    This is a redo with some SAT,to give the drab colors a lift,what do you think.

    I do think the SAT one just gives it a lift, I like this bird in it's habitat, really nice natural shot Chris.

    A pleasing capture Chris. I think you might need to remove the cyans and blues in the white collar and small wing bar. I'm OK with the first presentation. nice work.

    I like the loose composition, setting, sharpness and complimentary BG. I like the OP the best. Very well done Chris.

    Hi Christopher, very nice shot! Another bird I have never seen :) I like the OP better and agree with Adrian regarding the cyan/blues seeming a little off (unless that is the natural colouring of the bird?). I love how the vegetation is mostly in the focal plane, yet the background is blurred.
