    This image was captured on a warm, early morning at Whitesbog as the LEYE was foraging for food, in August of 2014. C&C welcome.


    D700, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 TC, 1/640s, f 6.3, ISO 320, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    Hi Geoffrey, I like the angled pose, together with the slightly open bill. Lovely circular ripples, and Im in two minds if you should come up from the bottom a touch.

    I like the pose, ripples and BG. I would crop up from the bottom to eliminate the OOF FG. I did a scroll composition and liked the result. Well done Geoffrey.

    Nice pose, beautiful water colors, and I love the open beak. Another vote to crop out the foreground.
