Not a very happy looking Nuthatch, but the perch, pose and snow make for an appealing image. Something funny about the eye.

Hi Bill Not sure why hes unhappy-just hsad about 20 peanuts !!
Eye not touched at all. Maybe its the reflection of the f pure white house wall only 4 foot away. Happens a lot shooting through that particular window.

Hi John, your comp works well, and I like the leaning pose from your interesting snow covered perch. I do like the ruffled plumage, and we have a great view of the near foot grabbing onto the perch.

This is a corker John...I love the background , snow fall, the bird's stance and the detail/sharpness. I might just de-saturate the eye highlight. Good work young man.
I would very much like to employ your window cleaner!

Thanks Ade. Its actually one small pane of double glaze- which is ideal. The old fashioned thin stuff is no good at all.. Cheers

Beautiful John. The repost works for me. He looks thoroughly miserable. I like the soft greens and snow on the BG. Composition and pose is great.
