I have not been doing much photography this year. This image was made at my local park which I like to visit when we have had decent snowfall. The image was made in 2010. The bird was baited without a hide (blind).

Nicely exposed Adrian. Maybe lift the eyestripe a teeny -teeny bit ? No big deal. One of my favourite birds.

Lovely shot I would lift the darker areas just a smidgeon. Well done a different shot I have not seen a nuthatch in these circumstances.

I like the large in the frame look.
Snow looks great and this has a lovely wintery feel to it.
IQ is superb and I love the clear view of the pupil,

Hi Adrian, you have got a real natural look on this smart looking Nuthatch in the snow, great work.

I like the setting, details. tight composition and sharp where it needs to be. Very well done Adrian!

Just lovely! The size in the frame works for me as there isn't much context to offset the subject. Great detail and tonalities. I had that lens back in the last century -- it gave me some tack sharp images.

Great image, the snow has texture, well exposed overall. Great work, Adrian.

I would prefer a touch more room left and top, but I like the pose, wintry setting, colours. A bit crunchy on the details on the head, easy fix. Good job on the snow, with a good look at the granular texture of it.
