Default Canon 7D Mark II Video Mode

I have successfully been able to shoot short videos regularly until a few days ago. After trying to change a few settings in that mode, I must have inadvertently turned one off, but can't find it. Now when I shoot in video mode tracking swimming ducks for example, the camera shows everything to indicate the take was recording properly. I discovered it wasn't after uploading to Picasa3 as normal. No video takes showed up.

All my settings for still photos were used when shooting in video mode. Those did not change and still work. When testing, I shot 5 stills and 5 videos. When those 10 takes were uploaded to Picasa, only the 5 stills appeared.

I've been through the manual and several net tutorials, but can't find the menu selection to reactivate all of the functions in video mode to save and review takes on my desktop.

    Need help finding this glitch.

    Regards,

    Jonathan

Sorry for the confusion. I found the problem. The glitch was NOT in my camera video settings. It was in the Picasa loading designation.
