Splashdown! Hooded Merganser Hens

From one of the ponds along New Jersey's North Shore last Friday. I love the antics of this species, and the expressions on their faces. The bird on the right had just landed, with the LH bird right behind.

Your right Bill the landing duck as a real spooky look on it's face and the other one does not look to happy, nice splashing action and both birds look very good to me, water droplets are icing on the cake.
