We are still struggling for decent light over here, this is one from a set up at the weekend. I was taking shots of another bird when the Coal Tit landed on the nearby perch.

The red and green perch is beautiful. The bird isn't quite sharp, perhaps from motion blur at that SS? The Coal Tit must be very similar to our Black-capped Chickadee, one of our cutest, and one of my favorites.

Very nice perch and background, and I love the foot on our right gripping a leaf. I think I would have preferred a bit looser composition - this would also help with the IQ on the subject which seems softened from cropping. Very similar to our chickadees indeed.

Nice shot, Will, excellent perch and background.
I would have the Tit more towards the center if the shot were mine.

I like the perch, the BG, and the poise but the bird is soft as mentioned.

Hi Will, can only echo the above comments, may be move position and get closer to avoid hefty cropping, but push that ISO, you have the kit, don't let slow SS evade capture, you are so close in getting what you want.

Nits covered above Will,it's good that you still have a perch with a few berries on it which lifts your image .

    Cheers keith.

Nice frame but I agree the bird is a little soft.
