Default Pure White and Powder Blue Eye Shadow...

It is almost time to begin the annual pilgrimage to the rookery at Gatorland, so I have been going through my files. Working on those I thought could be improved and studying what I did right and wrong. This is a image of a Great Egret in breeding plumage and colors. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Wow, that is an impressive image! Great details in the white plumage, and that blue....! Sharpening looks a touch too heavy. Beautiful portrait shot.

Hey Joe, this is really cool, perfect exposure, very nice detail and well executed, no nits from me, I think you could teach me a few things here.

Wow, this is so cool< Joe. I wonder if all the White Egrets have this coloration around the eye.

Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting. Very much appreciated...

Karl, the Great Egrets have this color on the lore during breeding. It is either blue or green.
