    Default California Quail

This is a male California Quail that I photographed in Vancouver (ironic that he is native to where I live but I got this frame faraway from home).

    Wow!!!

Super IQ, great pose and wonderful framing of the foliage. That feather popping out of the forehead is quite unique

Very artistic, nice to see you shooting something different with the usual super quality.

Hi Arash - This just works in all respects. Nice pose, creamy bg, excellent exp and detail. The foliage adds as well.

Gorgeous plumage on these quails and you captured it perfectly! Excellent all 'round. I might be inclined to clone out the specks (poop?) on the moss, rock and foreground leaves, but great either way. TFS.
