    Default Grouse in snow

Hi, I cant help but to go in search of the Red grouse when we have some decent snowfall,i would have had no chance of this shot if I didn't have a 4x4 as I took me nearly 1 hour to negotiate a very narrow road only just passable with a ditch either side and a drop of at least 4 feet either side, going up was fine but not coming back down anyway once parked I was then on foot looking for the birds. Glad you survived, and a good reward for the effort! Wondering if the contrast is a little high?

Agree contrast is a little high but this image looks so cool against the snow, and I love the HA and the bits of vegetation.
