Lovely capture Karl. Great 'snowy' feel about it. Bird looks great, as is the perch.

    Karl:

Well, she live up to her name in this photo. Just the right amount of snow, strong effect without obscuring the bird. Blue/gray background feels cold.

I assume this is a female, but perhaps a 1st year male?

    Cheers

Super image, Karl. Perfect Theme shot. I love the snow (and the Snowy) in this one.

Truly evocotive shot Karl. Spot on !- whites perfect. Love it. Would even stand a crop but no big deal unless you like Big in Frame- some do

Hi Karl, love the eye contact, and well exposed on the whites. Im fine with wooden posts as perches, and the falling snow adds to your winter setting.

I would print this as a Christmas Card.

Agree with comments above, great image. There is something about the way owls start that always make me ask myself what is it thinking?

Wonderful! I'd be tempted to crop some off the bottom to present this gorgeous creature larger in the frame.

Excellent, the theme probably has a winner!
I also might crop a bit off the bottom, but this is so good that is
    your prerogative.
