    Default Frosty morning Cock Grouse

    Have not posted for a while,last few weeks here in UK weather as been rubbish,went up on moors this morning,roads a bit dogy,with ice and snow,but could not get a shot of grouse in snow,but managed this in frost,and very nice lighting.cannon 5D MK111,hand held,lens 500mm L,IS,F4,CANNON,1/4X EXT,700MM,FL.ISO1250,1/1000S,F8,CROP,SHARRPENED FOR WEB,touch of levels.

    Rich, warm colors with great harmony between bird and bg. The tiny flowers match some of the birds colors perfectly. I like the composition as well.

    Glad you got a nice result for your trip out.

    Chris rather than cold and frosty your image as got a real nice warmth to it, nice red on the grouse and the grasses make it for me, very nice work.
