Great diving pose and beautiful bird. It doesn't appear critically sharp on my screen. I don't know if the problem is motion blur, but it seems to me that you might have pushed the ISO higher to double the SS.
I agree with Peter on the identification of the bird. I think you did well considering you were shooting from a small boat. Pushing the iso some would have given you more shutter speed to work with and increased the chances of a sharper picture. Good effort though. TFS
