Another image earlier from my trip to Cape Town. This Stilt was captured at the same location as my recent Flamingo image, and I couldnt resist the pose. The water BG is as shot from camera. Taken early morning.

Very nice Stu. I too, like the raised leg. I also like the little feather in the grass.
Nice look at the red eye. Blacks and whites look good and great POV,

Super exposure and a pleasant pose, detail as usual is outstanding.

    Stu:

Spectacular legs on this one, with POV showing them off. Very elegant. Soft background shows off the bird well, but still provides some sense of depth.

    Cheers

Beautiful bird, lovely pose. Nice detail and background. On my monitor the white on the head appears to be slightly grey, but not knowing the bird that could be the color. Thank you for sharing, Stu.

Joining in a wee bit late but this one is a real stunner, whites are crisp and detailed and the raised foot all so pink. Nice to have the lone feather in the grass, well done indeed.

Wonderful image of this elegant bird, Stu. Love the light head turn and the raised foot.

Exposure and colours on the bird are spot on!
