This past Thursday is certainly going to be a bird sighting day to remember. Including this Nashville Warbler, a lifer for me, there were three more warblers I can add as lifers at this location, across from the Trenton Sewer Plant. As Bill stated in his earlier post of the Yellow-throated Warbler, the warmth from the ponds keeps insects around as the weather turns cold.
I decided to leave the tangled environment that we saw these many warblers in. C&C welcome.

Always a thrill to spot something new. Good that the central area is relatively clear around the bird, to help frame him and not distract too much. I appreciate the desire to show the environment, but could also see a version with a tighter crop to reduce some of the distracting elements. Several ways to tell this story.
Certainly was a day to remember, including the misadventures before we even found the place. This is certainly the environment that the birds were in, and you managed to get the Nashville clear of the tangles. I'd leave them in, at least in this version; but I might be tempted to brush out, or at least reduce, the purplish blob in front of the bird. The warbler seems slightly on the cool side, at least as I remember the scene. You might want to try warming up the image a tad.
Hi Geoff, lovely yellows and greys on this fellow, and you got lucky with a pose framed in an open area of the surrounding enviroment. Congrats on your lifer.
Hi Geoffrey. Congrats on spotting this sweet looking little bird. Details on the bird look good, I bet you were wishing he was going to move out and make for a better BG Nice as is though.
