So I wake up today look outside and everything is telling me I should go back to bed but last week I did go back to bed just to get a text from a friend about the epic sunrise he just shot. So I am pretty sure its going to be a bust so i decide not to waste time driving and instead head to the same beach i talked about in a previous post near my house. This is what I was rewarded with as the sun broke the horizon The surf was up and it was high tide covering the rocks so i went with this composition.

    Hi Don,

I like this very much. Love the colours and all. Smooth clouds and water does it for me

    Have a great weekend

Gorgeous! Perfect all around for me! The vertical crop is somewhat unexpected for the scene and a nice surprise that works very well.

Lovely image, Sun and wave caught at exactly the right moment. I am a fan of 'portrait' landscapes and I think it works really well here. Beautiful colours.

I'm late to the party here. But still a very nice sunrise Don. Your images make me miss Florida so much. They are always a bright spot in my day.

Thank you Grady for the kind words. I want to visit Main soon to do Acadia and the wonderful lighthouse you have up there.
