Got to see 4 year old Amelia take her first riding lesson. She love horses and took to it well. It was at night, indoor arena, so light helped set a tone. Used Simplify 4, lind and ink, cartoon natural II.

Love this! Lucky Amelia! Beautiful touches of light on the horse and Amelia's pink shirt. I like that you caught just a bit of her face. She looks to be concentrating and the horse looks very willing. Simplify was used with great effect. Maybe a tad brighter on just the eye of the horse. I would consider lowering the top down, reducing all that black above.

Love the light especially on the shirt as it brings more emphasis on the girl. The highlights on the bridle are terrific too. I think a sliver off the top would improve and already great image.

A lovely photo-op and very nice processing. Your granddaughter? Lucky kid!! Agree to a little off the top, at least for presentation here. Always nice to have a version ready for text, though!

I agree with a little off the top but not very much. The lighting against the dark background is eye-catching. Very nice work on the processing. There's a hint of a post, maybe, in the background. Only because it's right in front of Amelia's face, I'd be inclined to either move or hide it. Not a big deal, though. I like the image very much as is.

Thanks for all the comments. I'll work on taking a bit off the top because that seems to be the consensus.
