Well we had about 60min of sunshine so I popped off to the beach, this oystercatcher had just finished feeding and decided to take a bathe.

Hey I followed up your bathing scene with one of my own Great bird, good light and nice action. Action frozen well. Just a bit of clockwise rotation and we're good!

Agree a little rotation and did think a little off the top but looking at the image don't think that would be a good idea, because that would loose some of the water droplets. You made the most of that bit of sun, really like the bird in it's bathing pose ,nice job Jon.

Great bathing image, Jonathan. Love the Oystercatcher stance, splash and the light. Agree with CW rotation and I might crop up from base just above the OOF patch of ground.

    Hi Jon,
I like the action and the splash; and that nice deep blue.
Did he do the flap/jump when he finished?

    Regards, Gerald

No I am afraid not, another oystercatcher came along and chased him away.
