I like the hunting stance and the concentration of the eye. Colours and lighting look good and the bird stands out well against the dark background. I would suggest that you may care to clone out the oof bird? in the middle distance.

Love the light, the pose and your ultra low shooting angle.
I also like the depth in the BG. The OOF bird adds some interest imho. I suppose it comes down to personal preference, but I would keep it as is.

Superb light, great colors in the BG.I like the raised feather on the head and the forward walking position.
I am on the fence about the OOF shorebird . I think I would prefer it without but having it there tells a story too.
I think the image needs a bit of CW rotation.
The whites are a bit hot on the shoulder. Any chance of recovering them in PP?

Sweet light, nice "hair", low shooting angle. I'd get rid off the OOF bird as well and try to recover the whites in some PP work. Well done.

Rotation mentioned, I love the light, I would leave the oof bird in the scene.

Aside from a bit of rotation (CW), I like this as presented. The colors are beautiful, as is the light. If you have a frame where the legs are separated, it would be even better.

Same thing, as above a little CW rotation was my first though. I would leave the OOF bird in the photo, it adds something IMO.

Lovely image, with great colors. Reminds me of those lovely light from the early morning in the field photographing the shorebirds!
