This was the second go at it for these two. I was at a good distance away as is normal for these birds.

    Hello John

What an astonishing sequence - fantastic capture! Nice techs too:)

Superb interaction, great framing, well exposed and nice PP work. I like that the eye of one of the birds is visible in the first frame.

Love the behavioural aspect of this sequence, very interesting and also dramatic.
I notice you removed one frame, not sure I will be able to "close the gap" but I will try. Thank you so much for sharing, I really enjoyed viewing, this is just wonderful - congratulations

    Kind regards,

    Gap was for dramatic intent.

John, that's why I left it in!

Just kidding, could not remove, not an issue really, I love this... It does increase tension though!!!

Awesome stuff, incredible action, hope you post one image in Avian (if you haven't already done so).

    Kind regards,

    Kind regards,
Thank you very much. I don't think I have post one in Avian yet.

John, to me the first and second frames are most dramatic. The Avian Forum is less forgiving than Story Sequences in terms of IQ and PP work, I would suggest you crop less for better IQ and do some NR on the BG, WDYT? Also to get rid of the bright spots in the BG. Hope you have more to share, I really enjoyed this!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

    Kind regards,
Those are actually just quick LR conversions. So little to no NR, sharpened to bring out detail. Thanks for the suggestions I will keep them in mind. I agree my selection would come from those two. I need to get Episode 2 up. I think I would be more inclined to post one from that sequence.
