    Nice pose, BG and eye contact. Fill flash would have helped since the sun was not behind you. The perch is a bit dominant, maybe you could crop the lower part of it.

    Fully agree with Axel and can add to corp some from the left side. Would take most of the log !!! With these birds I do try getting in perfect sun angle and making many exposures. They are like shooting into a mirror and you need the perfect reflection!!!

    Quite the regal pose! Seems there is a lighter area all around the bird?
