Wow, I love this image, Frank.
If the perch were a raggedy lichen or moss covered one, it would put it over the top but the bird and background part are superb.

The title is very apt and the image is superb, super shot well done. The raise foot really makes the image. if I have to find fault the only one worth mentioning for me is the tip of the bill which is not quite in focus.

I love the foo-up pose, and the little "pinky" toe sticking out. Excellent background, and the subject looks great. Too bad that bit of whitewash is on there though. I could see a version with the subject/perch not so tight to the right (but still a bit off-centre).

Lovely image, Frank. I like the color palette, the position of the bird, and the interesting perch. As Jonathan mentioned the tip of the bill is slightly out of focus, more depth of field would have taken this over the top. Thank you for sharing.

Fabulous pose, great colors and background. I don't mind the perch. Tip of bill noted, but a fine image that I wish were mine.

Beautiful colors and pose. I do wish the perch was a little more weathered.

Really nice pose Frank. I was thinking about the bill tip before I read the other comments, maybe worth pushing the ISO a bit in the future.

    Lovely image though.
