This is an image from last January. Minutes after I crept to a good vantage point, it started to snow. There have been reports of up to 11 at this same cornfield in the past few days, but of course after I get there they've moved to another location. C&C welcome.

    D700, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 TC, 1/400s, f 7.1, ISO 1000, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

Cloned out another out of focus SACR on the left side in cs6.

Hi Geoffrey, I like the mood and the pastel colors. Understand it was snowing, but not sure some of the big blobs whether they are falling snow or snow on your lens. Loi

Thanks Loi. Those are snowflakes. This can happen with snow with this focal length. If I had time I would have bumped up the ISO and tightened the aperture.

Nice image for the theme, Geoffrey. Snow flakes make the image. I'm not sure about the corn stalk above the bird's back.

    I love images with snowflakes.
I like the feel of this image.
I do wish the OOF stalk was not going across the crane's body.I personally do not mind the corn stalk behind the crane.
I see a bit of posterization in the area where you cloned out the OOF crane. It is tricky to clone out stuff when you have various colors and snowflakes to deal with.
